Since the Sichuan earthquake, apart from 20 million NOK aid offered by the Norwegian Government, many Norwegians and local Chinese have been making donations to the disastrous areas in China. Up to 16:30 on May 20th, the Chinese Embassy in Norway had received 443095.5 NOK, 12000 RMB, 6200 USD and 50 EUR. The special account opened by the Embassy for the donation (kontonummer: 1201 87 84775) so far has received more than 240,000 NOK. The Embassy will send these donations to the disastrous areas as fast as it can.
In addition, a large number of organizations and individuals have made their contributions to the disastrous area through other means. The donation is expecting to increase in the coming days.
