From May 19th to 21st, a Book of Condolences was opened at the Chinese Embassy in Oslo to mourn the Sichuan earthquake victims.

 

Among over 300 people who came to the Embassy to sign the book, there are Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Acting Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament Carl I. Hagen, Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Chief of Defence General Sverre Diesen, Mayor of Oslo Fabian Stang, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Norwegian Parliament Olav Akselsen, the Lord Chamberlain of the Royal Court Rolf Trolle Andersen, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Espen Barth Eide, State Secretaries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Raymond Johansen and Håkon Arald Gulbrandsen. They expressed their sorrow and extended the sympathy and support to the Chinese people.
