Shanghai, China November 2-6, 2004

Sponsored by World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) and UNESCO, the World Engineers' Convention 2004 (WEC2004) will be held in Shanghai, November 2-6, 2004. It will be jointly organized by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Shanghai Municipal Government. This Convention will be a grand gathering of the engineers worldwide and cover important engineering topics for sustainable development and new challenges in the new century. With the theme of " Engineers Shape the Sustainable Future", the convention is designed to provide a platform for engineers and engineering students to interact and discuss issues and problems that commonly concerned.
