According to relevant Chinese laws and regulations, and with reference to international practice and experience, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Norway will, starting from 22 October 2018, collect all ten fingerprints of all applicants applying for Chinese visa, excluding those mentioned as below:
    1. Applicants who are under 14 or over 70 years of age;
    2. Applicants who lost all ten fingers or whose all ten fingerprints cannot be collected.
    3. Applicants exempted from fingerprints collection according to bilateral reciprocal arrangement;
    Applicants' fingerprints will be stored for five years. Applicants who have completed fingerprints collection and applied for Chinese visas within 5 years with the same passport will not have to get their fingerprints collected again.
    Applicants shall bear all the legal consequences including denial of entry for forged fingerprints or using other people's fingerprints for visa application.
