In order to provide better consular legalization application services, as of 1 January, 2021, the consular legalization applications of Norwegian citizens as well as third-country citizens should be submitted to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Oslo. Consular legalization applications filed by Chinese citizens can be submitted directly to the Chinese Embassy in Norway or the Visa Center.

The Visa Center will be responsible for services including answering inquiries, receiving applications, returning documents and collecting charges. The Chinese Embassy in Norway is in charge of the processing and approval of relevant applications.
