On February 27, 2024, H.E. Ambassador HOU Yue, attended the Year of Dragon Reception, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London (London ETO) and the Norway-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce (NHKCC). Nearly one hundred guests participated in the event, including Mr. Tore O. Sandvik, State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr. Gilford Law, Director-General of the London ETO, and Rolf Willy Hansen, President of the NHKCC, officials from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Innovation Norway, and representatives from the Chinese and Norwegian business communities.

The guests exchanged views on the promising cooperation prospects between China and Norway, Norway and Hong Kong in areas such as economics and trade, green transition, and sustainable development, and shared their expectations for the bright future of the prosperity of Hong Kong and the ever strengthening relations between China and Norway.
