To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Norway, Chinese Embassy in Norway invites you to share your stories and best wishes.

What is expected?

On October 5th, 1954, China and Norway established diplomatic relations. After 70 years of development, China-Norway relations have become more mature and resilient, and have maintained a strong endogenous momentum.

The peoples of China and Norway have made outstanding contributions to the exchanges, cooperation, and friendship between the two countries. For those of you in Norway, what are your fond memories and unforgettable stories related to China and the development of China-Norway relations? What are your wishes for the future development of our relations? We invite you to share your stories, thoughts, and expectations with us through short videos, photography, drawings, paintings, articles, and more.

Who can participate?

The event is open to all Norwegian friends, as well as Chinese compatriots and foreign friends previously or currently living in Norway.

How to participate?

Please send your work to chinanorway1954@gmail.com before May 1st, 2024, and indicate your name and address in the email so that we can send gifts to you. We will carefully review all the works and select the winners.

What can I get?

Each participant will receive an exquisite Chinese cultural gift. The winners will receive generous prizes and have the opportunity to attend the National Day reception this year which as well celebrates the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Norway. Your works will also be published on our social media, and might have the chance to be distributed to Chinese and international media.

What else should I pay attention to?

1. Short videos are expected to be within 10 minutes. For photos and paintings, please provide a brief description of the content in the email. Stories are expected to be within 2,000 words.

2. If the short video has dubbing, please attach the subtitle text in the email. It will be appreciated if an English or Chinese subtitle text can be provided.

3. Chinese Embassy in Norway reserves the right to edit the submitted works.
